Hi Guys
Just moved into a property that was half commercial & half residential. There are three electrical meters - two with npower & one with Scottish power - which we now want to consolidate into one as the property is fully residential. Who does the necessary work? Thanks.

You will need a competent spark to connect the "remaining" supply to the fuseboard(s) and the people you pay the bills to to come and disconnect the unwanted meters .............they may charge for this!

Can you post some pictures ......

One intake = one cable feeding the building then the meters are individually fed from this cable to supply the relevant premises.

Get it sorted out as quickly as possible as a friend has an issue where a meter is fed from a meter so his tenant pays their bill and he ended paying their be again and his own as the installers screwed up, long story.

Will definitely need to know the number of phases,or there is going to be one heck of a discussion, regarding the billing,if one supplier is feeding 2/3's of a 3PH load ;)

As for balancing and single point of isolation...

Hi, you will need an Electrician to do all the wiring rearrangements before any meters are removed, if not possible, then certainly when suppliers are on site.
