So I have city and guilds l3 in electrical installation as well as 17th edition and initial verification test and inspection all of which I achieved at college. However since I didn’t go down the apprenticeship path I’ve not had a lot of experience on the job apart from a few days helping out on domestic rewires. I’ve sent 100s of emails with very little avail so I’ve been told phoning contractors up is the best bet. What should I say?

he'll need a ecs or cscs card to get past the gestapo site management.

good.that's all you need to get on site. now you need to blagg some agencies. go for job as a mate. register with indeed .co. get emails of availavle jobs in your area, both agency and direct.

You really need to be working under supervision for the next 3-4 years. I would sign up for an NVQ and then look to work as a mate for a number of years.
