Gas Energy provider replaced my gas boiler timer switch with smart Netatmo controller . Since the installation of the Netatmo controller the display on my boiler switches off when Netatmo turns off . I was advised by Service engineer today there is no live wire to boiler that is why the display panel is blank . The Display must always be on weather the timer is ON or OFF. Boiler warranty is void if there is no live wire to boiler.
Here is my question. Is it possible that the replacement of the timer switch as stated above is the cause of no permanent display to Boiler. My wife is convinced there was always an active display on boiler prior to the new time controller installation. It appears the issue occurred after installation of the Netatmo controller.
