Neutral Problem With Lights

Was asked to look at lights on a farm that had stopped working, I tested it at the board in the shed and the neurtul bar was live, i eventually got it traced back to just the cable coming from the house to the first shed. I tested it and the readings where as follows, L-E 230v (normal), N-E no voltage (normal), L-N 24v (yes 24v, not normal). Any ideas as to why this ishappening?

Live to earth says your live is ok,
Your Earth is probably ok, and bonded somewhere.
So that leaves a faulty neutral line somewhere ?

Neutral bar live.
L to N 24v is induced.
Neutral is missing.

Check the state of the connection of N at the shed board first.
Then test N in cable.

L-E 230v

Dead tests with continuity tester
L-E belling out
N-E nothing
L-N nothing

Have you done any proper continuity tests using your MFT?

I would suggest you do:

R1 + R2
Rn + R2
R1 + Rn

and report back

R1 + R2
Rn + R2
R1 + Rn

and report back

Agree "belling out" sound amateurish. I took my bell out and changed it for a wireless one.
