Hi all, a new member/Old DIYer here to ask a question. I've done some of my own home installation in the past but the biggest was installing a storage heater ringmain on a new consumer unit. I have one simple question to ask and later another not so simple, both of which are really asking whether a required change would comply with the ever-changing regs.

Now you mention it, I see that there is one fuse per heater. I'm now doubting my memory of doing the wiring myself, but I must have as I remember getting the electricity board to test and connect the new consumer unit tails. This is well over 30 years ago! My first question (unrelated to the above) is in the DIY forum.
