Hello / morning

I may be having a blonde moment, but when do we have to start using the new form for a PIR. Or can one continue with the exisiting for a bit, or is it a bit vague ...?

Also I can't find the link to the new forms that's on this forum somewhere, if someone can point me I would be eternally grateful ....

Thanks chaps & chapesses :D

... did you notice there's a grammatical error in the reports ...? - single board, page 1, bottom, "Overall assessment of the of the installation in terms of its suitability for continued use :"

Are they the originals from the IET??

P.S. and installation earth electrode has a bonus "I" at the front

There are a couple of little niggles with the EICR forms, but compared to the ones you can download from the IET, they are much easier to use.
On page 5 in the section for test instrument used, it has Othere instead of Other. Don't know if this can be edited, or how to do it?
Also on page 5, the first line of the test results is justified left, whereas the other lines are centered. Have to insert some spaces to line everything up.
There doesn't seem to be any real difference between the single board EICR and the muliple board EICR forms.
I notice that on the single board form, it automatically inserts 9 for the number of pages (page 1 of 9 page 2 of 9 etc.) whereas the multiple board form leaves this blank?
Also the schedule of inspections are slightly different in lay out.
I've tried Emailing a form when completed, but it was received in editable format, so what I do now, is print it to file as a PDF, and then Email that PDF. I guess there is an easier way to email the form?
I notice, with the 'insert Logo' field, that if you do not insert a Logo, the form will print out with the words 'insert Logo here'. I just made a blank Logo to insert.
With the signature field, I wasn't happy with the first signature I made, as it was too small, and when blown up, became fuzzy. I then fidled about with it untill I had a good copy, but saved it as a bitmap image. Although you can still insert a bitmap image, it is easier to insert a Jpeg image, so I re-saved it as a Jpeg.
I haven't noticed the bonus I for the earth rod?

These forms are excellent, yeah there is the odd niggle, but hey Ive just done a 12 board Inspection with them and they worked a treat, filled them in as I went with the Lappy(LapTop!)!Gone are the days of trying to go through pages of notes in the early hours of the morning trying to decipher what version of shorthand i was using at that time! Can you get all the other forms in this format? Id love to know/buy/download!! Thanks for posting these, they were an absolute godsend!wish i could get you a couple of beers!
