Hi, Should have been an electrician but 5 years of studying …? so I went for the 3 year option and became a Bricklayer. I have always loved circuits and the unseen wonder of electricity, a 'real' electrical shock in Spain put into perspective the 'tingles' I had received before...this stuff can kill.

I am considered a very competent electrician and I have an understanding of how loads are distributed, those of you who want a 'fast track of experience' should work in Spain for a year..40 amp max incoming main is outdated to an ex-pats expectations. So I now sell engraving machines but still assist my trade friends with wireless switching systems and LED lighting, I was one of the first to introduce colour changing to the Spanish electricians who were still installing surface mounted neon tubes...everywhere.

Welcome to the asylum mate.
