Hi all,

I have just moved into a house and changed a socket to a new one with USB slots so now I'm quite proud of myself. There is a light switch (2 gang 2 way - I think) one Light switch controls upstairs hall and the other switch controls downstairs hall - upstairs and downstairs are both switched at other points.
One of the switches broke so now I'm needed to replace ' I've attached a photo to show the wiring but when purchasing a new 2 gang 2 way switch it's not like for like - HELP!!
Thanks all!

You will probably need to go to an electrical wholesalers as don't think homebase etc will stock the switch you need ( A 2gang intermediate will fit and may be easier to source)

If you can get a 2 gang intermediate switch (Crabtree and Varilight are two manufacturers who make them) then to use an intermediate switch as a two way switch just ignore one of the terminals, so that common goes into one of the top terminals and the two other wires (one from L1 and one from L2) go individually into one each of the bottom terminals.
