Just the job! The mutt's nuts, the dogs -------s, the canine's cojones!
What a work of art, look good on the workbench. Nice present altogether.
A client once gave me an old valve radio, and it was just superb! It got Hilversum and everything! Seriously though...stuff like that makes me smile...an old Hacker Sovereign now...that would be just perfect for the workshop, if anyone's listening!

absolutely beautiful piece of kit. think there's a 5 week course on learn how to use it. :D:D:D

built to last and clearly looked after. I do a bit of work for free being ex forces myself via the Royal British legion for veterans. They often really look after their kit and old keepsakes. One guy still had his maps, compass and navigation tools from when he flew as part of bomber command. he still meticulously cleaned them every week and said when he passes they will go to the raf museum.

and it's got them lovely valves, none of them unreliable semiconductor crap that was fitted to exploding space shuttles.

Tektronix takes me back a good few years to thermal wax printers, jeez the quality of the print job was outstanding but a mission if you need to move one.

Reminds as I need to get my Fathers medals in order and dig out his fireman whistle from his Merchant Navy days in WWII.
