Hi all,
I'm new to EF.
I am a small electrical contractor which is currently 'Part P' registered with ELECSA. Although the majority of our work is carried out in the domestic market we are currently picking up a lot of commercial clients. We have now found the need to become an Approved Contractor/Installer (through client requests) as well as a Domestic Installer.
Our clients have not specified weather or not we should be ECA or NICEIC Approved Contractors but they do require us to have one or the other.
My question(s) is/are going to be obvious...... Which would be the better to join ECA or NICEIC? and why? as everything I have read on the subject has not been very direct/clear and has gone of the track a little with sub-topics.
All views or opinions welcome
I look forward to the responses
