ill check its def only living room but thats what i was told over the phone, so a loose connection can def make you lose voltage ? i didnt realise this could affect voltage but thanx
so can this be tested in a way that we dont have to remove all socket fronts (theres 11 doubles in the living room alone)?
Wow, 11 in one room??? Is this a mansion??? Yes it can be tested at the midpoint and then halfed again until its found. You are looking at opening a few socket fronts though!

I'm sure your sparky will have a tester that could test them all in just a few minutes.
would bloody hope he has a tester unless he is a kitchen fitter of polish!
Just stating the obvious because the OP's wording hasn't suggested he has a sparky!
hehe.
smells of did it all my self....!! only electrics init!!
thats nothing i had on a PIR last year 26 double outlets spread between 3 bedrooms!!
won't hurt anyone, damage anything, catch fire to anything ................
OP seems to have gone very quiet!
