What.. wha err. what is it? how does it work where does it go ? Any reading like Zs Ze ???

TBH Im going to pop back in there and test it as it was only a quick visual. The supply looks like its from OHL's out the front, so I'm guessing at the moment it's some dodgy sort of TT set up. I could be wrong though......

So is that seperate live and neutrals coming in from the supplier? What's the pipe work that it's coming out of? Is it some sort of old TNS set up?

Should be a quick board swap though, with only one circuit! :D

Hey,

Yep separate live/neutral from supplier. TNS crossed my mind with the cables being inside it and all. It is or was an old overhead supply which I don't think the DNO supplied any type of earth?

Quite a normal set up for a 1940/50’s OH supply. My great-grandfathers farm was the same. Treat it as TT, you will need a couple of decent earth rods and bond the conduit to the MET.

Is possible that is connected from another DNO supply using conduit as earth. This isn't uncommon have seen flats supplied from a shop below in a similar manner.

You might find a shop up there. Earthing systems very often TN-S. If connection to conduit is sound then normally okay. If you say yours may of been overhead then the earth to the conduit may well just be earthing the conduit.
