guys in an old house there are lots of single gang light switches that have 4 connections. live in , neutral in then switch live and neutral going to the light. av u seen these b4 and what do i replace them with.

if you're just replacing the switches, block connector in the neutrals. check also that the neutrals are not fused. but if they work, why replace?

As telectrix says, you can join the neutrals if you are going to use 1g1w switches, but if you want, you can get 10A Double pole switches.

No problems.
If using double pole switches, wire your new switches the same as the existing ones. Supply lives on one side, switched lives on the other.
If your not using double pole switches and using normal 1g1w switches, join your neutrals together, then supply live(s) into COMM, switched live into L1.
