Outdoor ground level footpath lights

I've been asked to install some ground level footpath lights for 150 metres in a recreation ground. Anyone know a source of suitable lights? It seems that LV is out of the question and I've seen some dome shaped rubberised lights somewhere. Grateful for any information from experienced fitters of this type especially regarding reliability as I've heard that most types fill with water after a while.

Ok, sorry, you're right of course - inappropriate term.

12/24v supply over that distance seems out of the question but i'd like to use LED lights so they would need integrated drivers.

Quite correct, the OP obviously means ELV.
I do however think that it was a poor decision to label <600ac as "low voltage" regards the publics perception as it can give a false sense of security.

The Voltage definitions is as listed in BS7671, hardly a place that the public go looking for anything.
Most of the suppliers seems to have abandoned BS7671's definitions and use "low voltage" to mean, well, almost anything lowish.

OK, OK guys - I should have put an "E" in front of the LV but can we get off that bandwagon and back to the main issue. Has anyone got any experience/tips/knowledge of putting in low-level (or should we call it Extremely Low Level!!) footpath lights over that length and the type of lights used - Pleeeese!!

150m - watch the volt drop as terminating the 16mm SWA could be tricky!

Which is why ELV won’t hack it.
230v is the way forward.
