The admin of the Tiling forum recommended I post this request here. I'm looking for an Electrician to complete the wiring of a DeviReg 550 control unit for a DeviMat 2.5m sq. electrical underfloor heating system installed in a domestic bathroom under recently laid tiling. Mains feed is from an existing switched spur which used to feed a heated towel rail in the bathroom, and has been replaced with an RCD spur. Cabling from UFH cold tails and thermometer probe along with the RCD mains feed have all been run to a wall box outside the bathroom.

Detailed photos from all stages of the work completed to date are available, including laying of UFH element, subsequent self-levelling compound application and all wiring runs. Cabling was completed to current required specs (horizontal and vertical runs through the centre of partitions). Resistance measurements were frequently taken throughout installation of the UFH element and SLC and tiling application using a digital multimeter and no variance was detected.

Looking for a quote to come on site, check RCD spur, complete cabling of DeviReg 550 and provide a Part P certificate.

Many thanks.

Hi.

It might be handy if you let the members know your location......those that are nearby will then PM you if interested.

Cheers.

:) It's OK, I'm not a Portsmouth native. I moved here on account of my wife...

The exact location is Port Solent.

So if anyone's interested, please let me know. I want to get this thing tested and connected up before the Autumn, and as I'm not an electrician obviously I'm not allowed to.

Cheers fellas,

Rob.

We recommended this guy to you from HERE. :)

Hopefully somebody can help him out or suggest a reputable firm down there?

I've had a PM from an electrician who's interested in the job, but I'm not allowed to PM back unless I have a minimum of 5 posts on the forum. This is post number 3.
