Discuss Periodic Inspection Report in Scotland in the Periodic Inspection Reporting & Certification area at ElectriciansForums.net

as long as you are competent, you're good to go. providing the person ordering the PIR has not made any other stipulations. e.g. niceic, etc.

Are you competent/experienced? You'll need indemnity insurance for PIR's too.

You need to ask what the customer needs the pir for ie insurance renewal etc etc as they could specify various requirements ( niceic/select).

Thanks for the quick replies. Yes i'm competent and experienced but don't have indemnity insurance. I phoned him back to ask about any other stipulations eg niceic and he said there weren't any but he wasn't willing to pay any more than £90 for a PIR so i told him to jog on.
