'with the aid of a small diagram show the phase displacement of voltages for a 415/240 and neutral for a small unit.'
many thanks

just enter " sketch phase displacement on voltages" in your search engine and then once loaded click on images

Meerkat says "Simples" really

Look HERE

The two main types are Dyn11 and Dyn1, but you can look for them with the link and you'll see the diference in angles.

Funny this should crop up I'm just doing a drawing of a tranformer 24 phase!

i understand that they are 120 degrees apart but im not very imaginative and cannot for the life of me think how to 'sketch' this

Be carefull the question could be phase angles or phase shift. Phase shift is the relationship between HV/LV
