Picture (off topic)

Can some one help me here please.
How do you add a picture (avatar?) to your profile?
I am fed up of looking like a snowman on a cloudy day...
Just wanted a change and for the life of me I can not seem to cut/post/paste or anything else.

Settings (top of page) > Edit Avatar (left hand panel) > Use custom avatar

Ok then seeing as we are asking questions.

How do i upload photos when the photo files are too big for this forum. Or how can i make them smaller on my pc?

google online pic resize and sites do it for you..

you can also do it in microsoft paint I think
took me ages to work out how to do my avatar as well!
