Pir in a garage!

been asked to do a PIR test in a garage, been to the job and was wondering how to go about taken readings on equipmen(2 and 4 post ramps) that is isolated by a switch and with is isolated by another switch, there is no way of opening up the equipment, how can i take Zs of Insulation?

Take it at the furthest isolator on the circuit.

take your readings inc r1r2 and zs at the last isolator thats where your responsibility for the circuit ends just like any other radial ciruit ie handryer, waterheater

You can add to the limitations box that you have done this to make it perfectly clear - "hoist circuits tested to final isolator only"
