After carrying out a PIR on a domestic property do you have to label up the consumer unit with the appropriate stickers, such as the date of next inspection.?

and

if any stickers are not there i.e rcd stickers, is it upto the inspector to place them on the board?

cheers

You are inspecting the job, the whole idea being you report to the client your findings whether it is wrong circuit breakers or labeling. You produce your PIR for the client, put a sticker on the board as to the date and a recommendation as to when the next inspection is carried out.

Now, obviously it depends on what you find as to what gets done, obviously if you find some number ones then probably something needs sorting out to make it safe.

All you have to do pal is put a sticker on saying the date of the last inspection and a recommended date for the next inspection you probably no which ones i mean no other labelling has to be done although if their is none this should be noted on your oberservations and recommendations page as you are only doing a report.:D

Many thanks everyone that was a great help.:)

Im actually a construction manager who used to have an electrical business being self-employed. Im in the process of setting up a inspection business doing a few jobs whilst keeping my current job. Do you know if there is much call for this work?
