Morning all.

I think its about time i dragged myself into the modern world of computerised certificates.

Looking around etc, i have noticed a system by a company called PIRform, recommended and developed with the ECA.

I have downloaded the trial version and it all seems very easy to do, especially at £75/year for the use of it.

Does anyone else use it?

Cheers

I took the plunge at last years Elex at Sandown Park after they were able to answer some of the questions I have. My advice to you is don't buy the ECA/Elecsa cersion as that that has thos logo's locked into to it. Buy he generic version and simply add in the logo's.

I quite like it, its easy to use and you can generate PDF certificates and email them to clients with your pdf invoice.

Only thing that put me off buying it was the fact that on domestic certs, you still had to have multiple signatures, and although not a problem, just didn't like it. They might off fixed it now though.

Went for easycert instead. But that also has its slight downsides

Got Pirform recently for £110 and then a few days later the upgraded version came out and big reduction in price.I wasn't too pleased about that but the new version is a lot better and you can now restore from a back up file which the earlier one wouldn't do.I like using it but it took me a while to figure out how to bypass a "fail" on a ring main.It didn't like 2.5 T&E on a 32A MCB.

I find it really easy to use, support very good, agree that multiple signatures could do with improvement, elecsa version is great, mines not locked in, can select anything logos etc in settings, had it 2 years now

Take a look at the amtech software mate we use it at our company not sure of the costs but I find it really easy to use great for printing out DB charts for commercial projects etc
