I used quidco for mine recently, the Public Liability insurance was £103.50 but it gave me £75 cashback. so £28.50 when that is paid back in the new year. Mine was with AXA insurance.
Might be worth having a look on the cashback sites and if going via comparison sites go via quidco to get the cashback.

Just renewed mine for £83 including the obligatory law use, which to be honest is probably worth it if anything happens (not that it will which is why I have insurance!) Aviva though Autonet.

That's the trouble with insurance, once they have you they seem to try and stick the arm in. I recall getting my Van renewal quote a few years back, looked around elsewhere as it had gone up a good bit, but found nothing better...so rang up to renew and had a bit of a whinge on the phone about it going up so much...2 mins later and they matched the price of the year before

I was with simply business too. Tried with stroma this year. They insured me for PI and PL for £105 instead of my £230 renewal.

I've had a few quotes for combined PL and PI , seem around 130 a month? Is that about right?
I haven' compared the two, just asked if the quotes above included both?

A month? That's over £1500 a year. What work are you doing and how many employees etc do you need cover for on that policy?
