Hello

I have decided to purchase a 18v 1 am plug in adaptor plug to rung the ring doorbell pro

Like this one.

My question is. I'm going to run this cable up into the chime and connect the bell wire to the plug adaptor.

I take it this isn't dangerous as it would be just the same as connecting the bell wire to the 18v 1amp din transformer that comes in the box

Any advice would be appreciated

Thanks
