Hi lads,

Is my first post and I would like to ask you if that would be possible to take a wire of the controller and install a fuse spur ?
I will install a shower pump and I haven't got any other plugs near by neither in the cupboard except the one from the economy 7 controller which will be fed via 240 v wire. I would think it would be possible but want to make sure.

Kind regrads

Bad idea Ron

Ok, so I assume it won't work. What would you guys recommend ? If I get an electrician out do you think it will be very expensive to install for me a fuse spur ? I do not know are guys talk about money here but in general what would you think it should cost?

The immersion heater is a designated circuit ,depending where wiring for a local ring final circuit is will depend on what work is involved. Is there any ring final circuits say for example in the loft above.

I think Simone has taken the mains of a normal plug but I am not too sure though. I didn't want to take the electricity of the immersion but from the mains inside the wall but if you guys say isn't good ideal then I will leave it and get a sparky out

hmmm. if the circuit is a dedicated 16/20A circuit for the immersion, then it's possible to add a 5A FCU if just to feed a low power shower pump.

Right, that will need to be checked accordingly and I will not mess around with this stuff so better off getting someone qualified.

But thank you for your help!!!!
