The above trunking been specified on a job in a science room, what a complete nightmare, just wondering if you guys have come across it.You can't use the main central carrier, only the outside compartment ,usually for data.My problem is,cables,2 rings & lighting cables,it's a tight fit, kind of ridiculous.

As far as I am aware MK prestige boxes come in 25mm, 35mm, and 41mm. You could either use shallower boxes, which has always been my solution, or use the boxes designed for the compact system. I have struggled before with 41mm boxes even in the regular prestige trunking.

A quick look on the MK website shows that these are designed exclusively for the shallow compact trunking https://www.mkelectric.com/en-gb/Products/CM/PD/prestige3dcompact/Accessories/Pages/VCT122WHI.aspx

Personally I think the frames I have linked to look a bit flimsy. I have no experience of using them though. I would use a 25mm solid box if they are compatible with the trunking.

have you tried the schneider slim dado? absolute crap and the couplers are worse. mk dado is a lot better with couplers that click on over the top etc
