Problem with newly installed light

Hi guys just wondered if anyone had any ideas about this problem. Installed new chandelier (with 12 SES type lamps) type light that they bought themselves in customers lounge the other day, tested afterwards, working fine. Customer calls, apparently after an hour the light goes off and stops working (every single bulb) and will not turn back on at the switch. Leave it a couple of hours and the light will turn back on but dies again after another hour. Has anybody ever encountered something like this? Is it likely to be a bad batch of lamps or a fault with the fitting itself? Any help appreciated!

What tests did you do on the circuit mate?

Something heating up and breaking the circuit, and making it again after a cooling period????>?

If you didn’t say it was Edison screwed I would have gone with a 12v transformer Jammed under insulation and thermal cutout activation

what type are the lamps (bulbs).LED/filament/?

What tests did you do on the circuit mate?

Insulation Resistance and Zs. Both values were fine. When the light dies, no other lights on circuit stop working and mcb/rcd does not trip.

What’s the switch? Regular, dimmer or smart switch? Maybe electronics in the switch??

No dimmer, standard 1g switch

does it do the same thing with just one lamp fitted (the other eleven removed) ?

Poor connection somewhere, probably a neutral as they're blue and are resentful about being that colour, they'd rather be black...
