Hi guys,

Need to replace a faulty Protek 63a RCD.

As most wholesalers probably don't stock this brand. Was wandering if a 63a wylex or another alternative would fit straight on the Protek din rail??

Would like to grab one from a local wholesaler tomorrow if possible.

Cheers

Just incase you havent sorted this yet, wylex will not fit as i have just been to try and replace a faulty Protek RCD 10 mins ago.
If you have sorted it, which make did you use please?

Thanks

I believe both Geyer and Vynckier fit direct in Proteus, however their usually harder to source and more expensive. My notes also say Wylex and CFL? can be made to fit with a little bit of fettling. Be aware that mixing makes of protective devices in a consumer unit invalidates the manufacturers BS EN 60439-3:1991 Amt:2009 assembly type approval.

CEF stock the Proteck RCDs and CUs.

They are not that costly to replace.

If you cant find any let me know any I will happily sell you one.
