Hi All,

Obviously I have never pull the main fuse, but out of interest does anyone know where you can get the saftey inserts from... the orange/red ones the meter guys/DNO carry to 'plug' the hole whilst the fuse is pulled...

Any links etc would be good........ just for reference obviously.

thanks.

fuse holder with the fuse removed does the job ( so i have heard from someone that knows these things  )

make sure, though, that the safety holder does not have a fuse/nail/whatever in it before fitting in the carrier.

I pop the fuse then pull the tails from meter, then pop the fuse back in, get to work on the board and get new tails ready, out with the fuse again via the meter seal fairy :) then connect up

Why oh why does fuse pulling and meter tags keep on coming up!!!

You decide work safely when you need to or work live and kill yourself.

The myths around these subjects are just unbelievable!!!

Please move on!!

Was just asking about shrouds etc.... Not asking about the rights or wrongs of it or seals.....just if you wish to do so then sourcing the correct equipment is only a good thing right?
