I recently got myself a new irradiance meter, its less than 3months old and never came with a calibration certificate, ive got my MCS accreditation a week, can someone confirm if it is acceptable and will pass MCS audit? evan if i show proof of purchase?

The meter is only required when testing the stc of your panels and your looking for a reading similar to that on the label on the back of the panel. I believe the only meter you are required to calibrate is that which you are using when the array is complete, testing the Voc and Isc.

And how would you know if the Voc and Isc are correct anyway as they both depend upon the irradiance to some degree? (as well as panel temperature) ...
