So with megger leads they are not too happy in a kewtech socket tester so what do you do when you want to do this use kewtech leads on the megger? The megger leads clearly do not fit into the kewtech. Just use the plug lead?

I had the same problem, the old style Megger leads used to fit into Kewtech socket and lamp holder adaptors. Had to buy a Megger plug/socket lead ,got one set of old leads I use for these adaptors but general day to day use new type leads.

Three options:
  • Get some of the old Megger test leads as they fit.
  • Use the 1363 plug top that comes with the Megger.
  • Use an Irish test plug...

Using the plug lead is fine.
Unfortunately if I want to do the r1 rn test then as Ive got a megger 1552 mft you can't select this option so I use a plug in socket tester (socket and see) but my leads aren't meggers own.
Kewtech type.

yhe newer megger leads are pants. they won't fit into lite mates.

When Megger changed their leads I thought as they weren't compatible with the Kewtech light mate socket adaptor they were bringing out their own version .

Yep used kewtech leads and socket tester today around ring sockets worked fine. Can't help feeling this should all come in the equipment at the price, but hey!
