Hi all,

Been to see a job today where the client has a number of Rako Controls installed controlling lights.

I've had a quick look at the Raco site and I'd be interested in any comments/obersvations/warnings you may have about these devices.

Thanks in advance

What would you like to know, we install a lot of their products and are very reliable , the only problem we have encountered is with the reid switch and magnet ( used to programme them ) - in these cases just dump the magnet and short out the jumpers

Thanks. Where do you buy from?

We buy all of ours from Your Smart Home (you can find them on Google). They specialise in installing this stuff, but they sell for the same price as Rako direct and you can call them up whenever you've got any questions about an install. I've dealt with a few of the guys there and they all seem to know their stuff, they also help you come up with a system spec.

Murdoch "Mr Resistor" also sells them. They are based in Wandsworth, London (this might be a little out of your way). Also Rako run free training days on their products at the offices out in Kent somewhere, which are completely free.
