i said to the guy today no probs il throw in a we 16A rcbo and bobs your uncle ad 4 double sockets for till, music, and banking equipment.

he said no doesnt need rcd protection no ciruits are rcd protected in this hotel..

any views to keep me thinking on right track. id say yes does as new sockets could be used for outdoors and cleaners will use these aswell, although only competant persons will work with these electrics..

He doesn't need RCBO for his Till/banking machine. Hotel - commercial - not residential.

If on RCBO it may trip and he end up loosing his till and bank receipts!

For his janitor, you need BS7288 RCD integrated sockets.
