Was doing an rcd test and when I did it on the upstairs sockets it tripped both rcds.
Doing it on the downstairs sockets it did trip them both, but I did the test a few times and was fine after the first. Every thing seems fine and did find a shared neutral on the lights but that is not used until its sorted.
Anyone know what mighty be the problem?

Hi Adam did you change the CU ? or are you just training ? if you did change CU whats the dead testing results ? if not start with split upstairs or downstairs ring and remove a leg (change into radial) then rcd test untill you get one rcd tripping if not try changing leg in CU untill you find the link.
Regards
Kung.

A straight CU swap. I'm new so very much still learning (mind, you never stop learning :p)
All other tests where fine and everything works normal, bar one light that trips it all out (having a shared neutral)
When I did the change there was a neutral on its own with an earth, no live. the earth was just a bare twisted wire so must be pretty old? But I left them unconnected.
