Recomendations on a tone tester/generator

As the title says really. My two apprentices run in 148 cat5e cables and used a permanent marker that turned out not to be so permanent .....Looking for a decent tone tester/generator so they can sift through the bundle of cables and re-mark them....In their own time of course to teach them a lesson

Put one apprentice on one end with a Megger and the other apprentice on the other end as a detector...

Every time they identify a cable, the Megger changes ends.

That'll teach 'em to mark them properly.

Haha.....Arkwright . I have a few cable marker dispensers in the van but they went and used some snide sharpie one of them had brought from the pound shop

Haha! You should use the non toxic washable kids paint from the pound shops instead then Lee. I currently have two white plastic chairs with a mid blue tinge that will not budge whatsoever!! bleach....surgical spirit... solvent....not coming out!!
