101, clipped direct with no insulation above.

sorry 101 is insuylation not exceeding 100mm. 100 is what i shouls have said for no insulation above

just got on site guide out and 101 is insulation exceeding 100mm, 100 is insulation not exceeding 100mm, and c is clipped direct.

are u saying it's clipped direct or insulation not exceeding 100mm

thanks

Clipped direct if not touching,10mm enough for heat to dissipate. What circuit is it for?

kitchen (extension) radial, builder's sparky reckon it method 100 so will have to be made in ring which is sort of problem cos bathroom floor has been tiled now so hard (impossible) to get a another cable though but could use shed cable as its also 4mm and run new cable outside for shed but i was sure its classed as clipped direct and didnt want a cable on outside of building if possible.

because 4mm with ref 100 only takes 27amp and wouldnt want a kitchen on any less than 32amp

just woke up. re-read post correctly. cable is not covered by any insulation, so therefore its method C , clipped direct.

farm job yesterday, all ladder work and dodging fork-lift trucks driven by farmers. fell asleep after 3rd pint
