hi,

I'm installing a CCTV system for a customer and they asked me if there was anyway of remotely controlling security lighting at there house. They can log on to the cctv system from any computer and control it and want to be able to do the same for the lights. does anyone know if this is possible?

thanks

Clint

you could use the dvr outputs via a relay to control the lighting

iphone have an app compatible with Lutorn

Byron do a system called home easy, There is a telephone station that wirelessly controls any of their light switches, dimmer switches, heating controls and door entry stuff. Have recently seen their stuff in CEF

You can buy IP (Internet protocol) camera's. I installed them in a shop a year ago so in the event of an alarm call they wanted to be able to check online before come out to false alarm. But myself i think it was to check on the staff lol.
