I bought my ageing Ford F150 with an aftermarket security device, a relic called AVITAL 2100. It has given me exceptional grief and I decided that it is best simply removed. I located the main module under the dash and removed it by unplugging all the wires that went into it. Now I'm left with this:

I now have dash panel action but no ignition. I downloaded the manual for the Avital 2100. I see that the two pins (in yellowish coverings right next to the red fuse) are 1. power out to the starter and 2. to the ignition. It also says that these are interchangeable.

So the problem now is to get power back to the starter and/or the ignition. Can someone offer advice on how I might do this?

Here is the relevant page in the manual. The two wires I just mentioned are at the top right of the schematic.

Finally, there are two things that look like relays. (You can see that they are in my hand in the photo.) My question is can they be removed also, and what are the consequences if I do?

Well it’s an interupt circuit and they are both markerd as interchangeable and input output try linking them out if your worried about causing a short circuit use a blade type fuse as the link any problem it will pop
