Hi everyone......
I recently had my Megger MFT1552 stolen from out of my car while at wholesalers!!!
I need to replace it and was going to go for another MEGGER as simple to use and i'm used to controls etc after using it for nearly 8 years!
Would anyone recommend a suitable replacement - i have looked at the MFT 1735 and the 1731/1721/1711 and tried to compare them without getting bogged down in all the jargon!!
I basically deal with domestics work - rewires, board changes etc - with a small amount of commercial work.
Any help or advice apprecicated,
Regards
Gavin

Dont know much about meggers but a little tip when you have kit stolen is go on ebay and search for it by choosing say a 5 mile radius from your area. I know somebody local who had some stuff stolen. He found it on ebay and police were useless at first. He arranged to meet seller and he got his stuff back. Only by telling police on route what hes doing and once hes confirmed stuff was his that him and his mate were going to batter the thief and do major harm did they send 2 cars to the point.
Some times you got to be cunning

Get another 1552, couple of hundred will buy a cracker and it'll not date and you won't have to look at the instruction leaflet!
