Can anyone give me some pointers for risk assessment regarding the following, in relation to the installation of a socket outlet circuit:

a) Proprietary fixings of the PVC conduit system.
b) The fabrication and fitting of the PVC conduit system.
c) The termination of the PVC conduit system to the metallic trunking system.
d) The installation of the wiring system.

I find this side of things difficult to put into words!

Any help really appreciated.

you are lookingfor something along these lines,a)fixing conduit involves drilling, risks involved are drilling into live pipe or cable, breathing in dust or getting object in eyes or falling from height, action check for buried srvices in drilling area using detector, ask, wear ppe gloves, goggles and dust mask, use suitable ladder.
B fabrication of conduit, risk of cuts from saw, risk using solvent again heights, action wear gloves and goggles.
C) termination into trunking, risk of metal fragments entering eyes and risk of damage to cables when drilling into trunking resulting in electric shock, isolate supply to cables, lift cables out of trunking and support same to avoid damage during drilling, wear gloves and goggles to protect from metal fragments whilst drilling ladders for heights.I will leave the last one to you now I have given you the idea good luck.

a) would be things like PVC coupling, PVC junction boxes etc?
b) glue? lol
c) No idea, never used tray with PVC conduit..could suspect some earth link from the cable to earth tray though? Just a guess
