I have installed a couple lights on my truck and have a rocker switch set to both there is an inline fuse and a relay in each circuit. For my front light bar I had it working perfectly. i then re routed some wires to clean it up and connected it to the battery. No matter if the switch is on or off the lights are always on. This was not the case before i rerouted everthing. I did not bump or touch the switch since it was working perfectly fine before i rerouted it all. The only thing i did was remove the battery connections and now my switch does not want to work properly.

Okay, so you have a rocker switch which is operating a relay which in turn operates your bumper lights.

If you disconnect one of the wires from the switch do the lights stay on? If they do then it rules out the switch and suggests the problem is either the relay or maybe a wiring mistake.

Hi dude,i'm not sure what type of relay you have selected, but how these are wired up,will have a bearing... Have you tried removing the switching wires from the relay? This will identify a switching issue, and if you re-connect,and they stay off,it points to an issue with how you may have wired the switching.

You will have four connections on your relays, two for the load, two for the switching, how are these configured? Cheers.
