Potential Power

Hi

Today I went to complete a survey for a customer. During our conversation I asked about any thoughts on the make of panel you may want.
The reply was anything but a sanyo HIT panel. I was rather suprised by this and asked why. During the customers research they had seen that
the thin film layers of these panels degrade at a faster rate that other more conventional panels ie mono and poly's. The customer was unable to remember the source of this information.

Has anyone else come across this being the case ?

Sounds like a salesman from a rival company trying to big up his cheap and nasty Chinese panels by eliminating the best performing panel to date. Thin film is the way forward in many future new builds. Besides what is a guarantee for especially from a brand like Sanyo.
