Hi, I recently got back from France where I've been living for 13 years working as a self-employed sparks. Now sorting out a new life back in Blighty and trying to get to grips with all the changes! Will be a keen reader of this forum for tips etc.

Welcome home RP, your English is very good - no hint of an accent at all!
You'll find that going over the archives will be invaluable to you. If you are searching on a laptop or desktop you will get the bonus of 'similar threads' at the bottom of the page and this help tons when trying to immerse yourself.
Shut yourself away with a cup of English breakfast tea and a piece of lardie cake and read read read.
