schedule of inspection

Hi All,
can anyone explain the purpose of the document "schedule of inspection" why we need it and also the other document "Generic Schedule of Test Results"

Welcome to the forum.

A fairly basic question, pretty much asking why do we need to inspect, test and record the results for a new electrical installation.

The inspection ensures that the installation has been visually designed correctly and that all safety aspects of design and erection have been taken into account, the schedule of test results demonstrates that the circuit has been fully tested and that the non visible (electrical) conditions of the circuit meet the regulations.
