When you go to apply for membership to a competent persons scheme, I see they require you to have been completing work and have certs for the previous 12 months.

How then do you go about demonstrating this if you are or have just starting working for yourself and in the past, all the work you've done is for your previous employer.

Think you may have mis read it the work they access you on must have been done in the last 12 months, so you could have done them yesterday and be assessed but not 13 months ago the only other 12 month rule is obtaining you 17th edition if you havent got it already.
