Security Lighting

Just been to a job where a customer is having problems with security lighting, Once the light is turned on the PIR is completly pointless as the light is on continuously. Only way of turning it off is to turn the power off

Any idears in why this is happening ?

There's normally a dial you can adjust that increases or decreases the time the light stays on, did you manage to get up there to have a look?

The PIR may be knackered, they often go this way.

Yip, Unfortuanlty this makes no difference. I suspect that the PIR my be faulty. Just going to advice new light with PIR

Had the same thing last week with the photocel side of the pir, it could'nt tell the difference between night or day. Customer not happy about it going off through the day. For the price of em just get a new one.
