Can anyone confirm my wiring for 4 x 120w panels, my controller is 50 v max, so im going this layout.

Do the panels have reverse voltage diodes fitted? They need to have to prevent one panel feeding back into the others.
What sort of controller have you got?
 
Good controllers are worth it as they do a better job of converting low output into usable voltage.
