You can complete electrical installation certificates and Electrical installation condition reports.
The completion of these certificates is a requirement of the wiring regulations and is not associated with any electrical scheme (except in the minds of the scheme providers).
Building regulations compliance /completion certificates for domestic work issued by building control (nominally) are the subject of self certification schemes by providing a cheaper way to notify work (where required).
Insurance for electrical work would normally be public liability insurance; insurance to cover you for your professional opinion when issuing EICRs might require professional indemnity insurance as well.
If I am going to do only comercial and industrial work, for what I need to join into a scheme?.Thank you very much.
Thank you very much, my constumer do not need that I form part of a scheme. I am going to do the EIC and I will get the insurance. You will only NEED to be in a scheme if the customer specifies it as a requirement for working on their installations.
only domestic work ( well some of it) is notifiable. commercial work is not subject to part p.Comercial work is not notifiable. Is it true? Thanks.
