Discuss Slow January anyone? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

No one has any money after the Christmas spend, IT contracting is always dead if you are out of contract in December then you'll be lucky to find work until February.

You should factor in this down time and bugger off to Goa for a month and enjoy yourself.

Not had loads of enquiries since Christmas...I had plenty booked in already for Jan and Feb. Hoping the phone starts ringing soon. Just won a block of 16 flats and an office block but won't be ready untill about April/May so could do with a bit to fill the diary up. Waiting to hear back on 14 flats but not that confident the builder I priced it for will win the job.

I had a new clutch to shell out for just before chrimbo which was a nice surprise. Thankfully though I am chocker at the minute with the next three weeks booked in and more to be arranged. I do around 30% joinery works as well as lectrics which does help in keeping me busy.

Never had a day, where there wasn't something to do,the day after, since leaving school:)

...Now that something,being fun,constructive,and financially beneficial?...that's another thing...
