Hi everyone

Been asked to quote a partial rewire and I'll include smoke alarm / heat rise, its for a 2 bedroom bungalow. I'm thinking of installing heat alarm in the kitchen and smoke alarm in the hall. Could anybody tell me if thats sufficient.

Any advice welcome Many Thanks

1 in the lounge to , one of the most vunerable places is the lounge , way to think of it is you need to protect the escape routes ,as for cable colours use red three core and earth then its distiguished from the other cabling

I actually meant that orange sheathed T&E stuff i've seen about lately...Don't know anyone that uses it mind :-\
it's FP200 after going through the mangle. ( what we used before RCD blowing tumble dryers were invented )

I'm about to start a small 2 bed bungalow. Was planning on just putting one in the hall just outside the kitchen as this is central and all rooms lead off it. Would I still need to put a heat in the kitchen? If so, it would only be about 2 meters away from the smoke?
