Hi All,

Am installing 6 smoke alarms (5 optical and 1 heat) for a client in a HMO. The council want a certificate with specific reference to the smoke alarm system. Is a standard MWC acceptable, stating that it is installed with compliance with BS5839 etc or is there a more suitable document required?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Des, does anyone know if the Council requires a diagram of the locations of the alarms or is a Certificate sufficient?

Thanks again in advance
